Michael X. Hernandez

Michael Hernandez is a Texas native, born in Missouri City, TX and has lived his entire life in the Houston area. He grew up in an athletic home, watching his father play professional baseball with the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees. He graduated from Houston Christian University with a BFA in studio art as a four year baseball player with the Huskies and began to write short stories and sports blogs shortly after entering the work force. While working as an operations manager, he began to write short stories inspired by his love of Stephen King works and began a sports blog filled with advice, stories and commentary on the baseball world based on his experience around professional and college level athletics.

He is the host of the show Rumble Book Club! on YouTube and Rumble which gives lighthearted commentary and reviews on a wide variety of books he reads of both fiction and nonfiction.

Michael Hernandez is married with four children and much of his current writing focuses on his experiences as a father and an educator. He lives with his family in the greater Houston area.
